Frequently Asked Questions

Keeon Minors has been building websites for over 6 years, and 4 years professionally.  Over the years many of the same questions have come up, so we have crafted this page to answer the most common questions.

This is my first time getting a website, how does it work?

First things first, we build our website mostly on WordPress (learn more about this below). You can also see our easy to read process to get your project from start to finish here.

How much does a website cost?

Think of the cost of a website in the same way you think of the cost of a house. Price varies based on needs, wants and size. However, generally our projects start in the range of $1,000 for standard websites/apps and range upwards depending on your specific needs.

How long does it take to design and build a website?

We generally take around 4 weeks from beginning to launch of your website. However this also varies depending on the size and complexity of your website. Another thing to consider would be our current workload and availability. We may ask to put you on a waiting list if we are not ready to start your project right away because we like to put 100% of our attention to our clients projects. Our motto will always be quality over quantity.

Do I need my own domain name and web hosting?

You will need to purchase your own domain name. I recommend using Namecheap, I get all my domains from there and as the name suggest you can get great prices and their tech is solid.

If you don’t already have a web host, you can use one of our hosting plans. We got you covered!

Will my website work on mobile devices?

Yes we design all all websites to me mobile responsive. However, depending on your needs, if mobile is your #1 priority we can also develop your project as a web app which will allow your website to function just like a native app, but also work on desktops.

Do you do ecommerce/Online Store websites?

Yes we do!

What is WordPress?

WordPress is a Content Management System which is a technology that will allow you to manage the content on your website yourself. You do not need to download or install anything, just an internet connection and you can access the back-end of your site and start updating things like your blog etc.

Do you provide training?

Yes we provide WordPress training videos to help you learn about the platform at your own speed.

What is Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?

Do you write the content for my site?

We can as part of our Digital Business Consultancy services. Check them out here.
