Spotlight😃📸 What is your name and area of business?

“My name is Katee Blizzard and I am a Visibility Strategist working with Socially Responsible Entrepreneurs in order to make a greater impact in the world through their businesses.”

How did the idea for your business come about? Or what sparked a change in your current business?

“With over 10 years of experience working for Non-Profits and a degree in Event Management, I set forth on a journey to combine my two loves as well as assist worthy business owners to improve their visibility in order to take their businesses to greater heights. 
After raising $1 Million for a charity, I was left feeling like I could never feel that amount of satisfaction again, that is until I realized just how many business owners are supporting causes they care about while pursuing their passions. And for me, I knew I wanted to be a part of that.”

What were the biggest initial hurdles to building your business and how did you overcome them?

“Figuring out what my offering would be was the hardest part. I had the who and why down but when it came down to it, I did not just want to be another social media marketer or virtual assistant. I wanted to do more and help these incredible people recognize their worth and the opportunities that keep passing them by.”

Anything you would do differently in hindsight?
“I don’t believe in regret as everything I have done so far has led me to where I am today. I think the biggest thing I would have done differently was to trust my gut. I second guessed my self and doubted my abilities. Comparing myself to people who had been in the business for years when I was just starting out made me a bit hesitant to take my own steps versus following exactly the paths they took to get to where they are.”

What would you say was the single most influential factor in your business success?

“Over Deliver! Always make it a point to WOW your customers or clients and show them why they should come back to you and refer you time and time again. I have gained so many clients from word of mouth because my clients know that once you work with me, I will be your cheerleader for life and support you anywhere that I can.”

What advice would you give to an upcoming entrepreneur locally or internationally?

Do not be afraid to pave your own way. March to the beat of your own drum and find what works for YOU! 
Throughout my time getting started I consumed so many FREE Worksheets that would “Help me launch my business and make 10K..” and although yes, that has happened in a short amount of time for me, I did not follow them step by step. When I was told to do Facebook Lives and get more visible I did, but I really didn’t enjoy it. So guess what, I stopped doing them and have had more discovery calls since because I was being my true authentic self and going with my own flow.”
