How would you describe your Instagram page and what do you hope to achieve with it?
“My Instagram page is real, not great photos always because I may be working in my shop which isn’t meant for staging. But my store is the ultimate makers space. Fun, bright, lots of good energy. I would like to gain more “value” followers who really want to try Chalk paint®”

What area of business are you in?

“We are a retail location that sells Chalk paint® By Annie Sloan. We teach workshops, and do pieces of furniture and kitchens for clients.”

How did the idea for your business come about? Or what sparked a change in your current business?

“I purchased the business from someone.”

What were the biggest initial hurdles to building your business and how did you overcome them?

“I have spent 2 1/2 years focusing on marketing and brand awareness.”

Anything you would do differently in hindsight?

“Change the business name”

What would you say was the single most influential factor in your business success?

“Persistence, perseverance, and hard work. Also a positive attitude :)”

What advice would you give to an upcoming entrepreneur locally or internationally?

“Be prepared to work harder than you ever have and never give up! You must have a positive mindset and be prepared for hurdles. Develop a 10x mindset 🙂 and fear is not an option!”
